Pulse
Early warning for crowd crushes, using the phones already in the crowd.
Shares motion numbers and your spot in the venue. No name, contacts, audio or photos.
What exactly is shared?
A random session ID, your spot on the venue map (in metres; if GPS is used it is turned into that spot and never stored) and motion numbers ten times a second. Phones running Pulse near you pass each other the same numbers (with a random handle instead of the ID) so the crowd can still be heard when one phone loses its connection. Leave at any time to see everything that was collected.

- A random handle (not your session ID), your spot on the venue map, your area's alert level and your motion numbers went straight to the few phones linked to yours, so they could pass them on to the server and warn each other. No GPS coordinates, no name, nothing else.
